How well does this version of Warrior Within run on a modern PC?

I have been wanting to buy Warrior Within for a while now but never bought it because I am worried if the game runs well on a modern PC. I just wanted to know by those who do own it, if it runs at a high frame rate, does it work on windows 10 and does it support a xbox controller?

Works at 144hz, works with windows 10, not sure about Xbox controller, but it's not saving progress for me. I tried running it as an administrator and that didn't help.

I'm wondering if some Windows security process is blocking it from saving.

Thank you for the reply. I appreciate it. It is bad that your game is not saving, I bought the game and will check if I have the same issue. Try checking your windows firewall settings and see if Prince of Persia has the proper permissions.

I was wrong there is no glitch with the saves, it's just that the game doesn't save for the first time until you've already made a decent bit of progress.

Have you finished the game? I am stuck right at the beginning. It is in the first great hall where you have to fight against a jumping lady, two soldiers and a knife throwing dude. I am unable to jump and stay on the other side of the railing. The prince just jumps on the other side and falls down into the chasm and dies. Is there maybe a patch I have to install?

I have not finished the game, but I am very far. Almost have the water sword at this point. I have not had the problem that you mentioned, are you trying to run away and not fight the monsters?

I can fight the monsters. It is only when I climb over the railing the prince does not keep grabbing it. He falls down and dies and I can not do anything. You can see the problematic location in the walkthrough

What kind of controls do you use, mouse and keyboard or controller?

Also wall run over the obstacle, don't try and jump over. Then he grabs.

Let me know if it worked. Remember to push the wall run button, he usually climbs over the obstacle then and hangs on.
