The game ended unexpectantly At The Second Tower - Central Hall (Past)

Hi, I've been playing this game on Uplay for a bit, but now I'm stuck on a certain wall run. As the title says, I'm at "The Second Tower - Central Hall (Past)" after talking to Kaileena and receiving the Lion Sword.
Now I'm making my way through the first few traps (bladed pillars on stairs etc.) and I come to the section where I have to wall run and then jump to the opposit wall. As soon as I want to jump after the wall run however, the game "ends unexpectantly".

I found nothing on the internet, just one guy who had the exact same problem as me in these forums, yet they never found a solution. Can anyone help me out?

SOLVED: So for anyone having the same problem at this paticular stage of the game. I solved it by looking AWAY from the way where I was supposed to go. So let the camera face the Prince's front side and run blindly along the wall!

Exact same problem here. Your solution didn't work for me. I'm stuck.

You might want to check and see if you really need to go there. I figured out that this wasn't actually the right path and this may be a reason why it crashes

Thanks, that was it. Cleared the second tower and it let me through that passage.

What a janky old game. Used to crash on gamecube all the time, too.
