Hey everyone -- MCINDUS here, the retro modder.
I created a 4k ReShade package a while ago and went back to revamp it, and once I was done I realized how much better the game looked now compared to the Cinematics - so I've been working on making them all 60FPS 1080p HD.
I would LOVE to make them 4k, but BIK 1 files have their limitations, and even with my improvements, the RADTOOLS Bik converter really decimates the quality and this is currently the 'best' we can get without someone who codes coming in and making the game able to read mp4's or another filetype.

That being said, I've upscaled all game-over animations, sand/weapon upgrade animations, all in-game Maps, the weapon description/information pages, the unlockable art, and I'm almost done with all of the in game Cinematics.
For the art, animations, and maps, I used ESRGAN AI Models, and for the Cinematics, I used a combination of ESRGAN and Video Enhance AI.

These upscales, combined with the pop2 widescreen fix and my ReShade custom setups give some great results - i'll show some off if people here are interested.
