A way back into the garden and waterworks.

Hello all, need a lil help here.

I completed the game and I missed the good ending because I couldn't get the water sword.

So before going to fight kaileena for the second time, I went and tried to get all the life upgrades I missed. One of it is in the Garden and Waterworks in the PAST.

But for the life of me, I can;t find any way back to that area.

Do you guys know how?

yea, tried that before, all access points is closed off and so on. I think its like a random thing for everyone I suppose. I'm just more to the unlucky end. lol

Hey! I found a solution! Zipping! I was stuck, same as you. The trick is to jump to the closed gate (there's barely a ledge to stand on). Then press the weapon throw button to unsheathe your weapons and use the counter block - block zipping technique. Once through the gate, I also immediately saved the game just in case some area wasn't loaded and that was it :)

The same way you got them in 1st place. Rotate lever in main hall to rise rocks that lead either garden branch or waterworks branch. I mean shouldn't be obvious? Have you reached point where you took off mask?

yea, I can fight kaileena for the second time which is basically the ending.

I have tried all ways, its either the gateway is closed or some ledge is too high for me to grab on.

Think, you can make a vid of how you revisit the gardens?

p.s :- I am guessing the game glitched on me.

Your tutorial is wrong, that specific location can be accessed from the present, not the past. This is why you're hitting roadblocks. As another user stated above, just follow the exact same route you use the first time you go through there.

I have tried both past and present. I can't find the way.

But if you can, hoping you can make a video record and post up here.

it is possible I missed a path, but I am doubtful on that.. lol

p.s :- and yes, I tried the exact route, both past and present. no can do. try it and if you can do it, a vid maybe? :)

Weird. Must be a bug or something.
But there is another way. After completing garden tower there will be ladder that you could climb for a shortcut.

At 6:57 right above where prince there is platform. Jump on it from platform 7:36.
There will be ladder there that goes all the way to ceiling

Been there, done that, I wall run across, grab a rope and swing all the way thru brings me to a portal to go back to the present. but from there, the destroyed top part of that place won't have any way for you to get back onto the ground (short of jumping down to my death)

the present of that area is also where you cab break a wal to get the flamingo secondary weapon.

any more ideas?

p.s :- starting to lose hope.. LOL

Also, at 19:32 of the vid, it clearly shows a "broken wall" , thats also part of the reason I want to revisit this area, but I can only do that after I get at least the scorpion sword.

So has anyone actually go and bust that wall up and find out whats behind it?

Go to middle path 2:50
Use portal and then go back. Maybe reloading the area by doing this will trigger and re-open the door?

Been there, the middle door is shut as well, and all the levels you crank around to direct the flow of water has gone under.

I think this may be too much to ask, but do you have a save file where you are before you fight kaileena for the last time?

if you do, just try to revisit the gardens and you will see why I am here asking about it.. hehe
