Load up on as much of the first boss mushrooms as I can
Grab as many leaves as possible to level up the green magic orb as far as I can

Make as many magic potions as I can (this is the time consuming part as each takes 2 minutes) For this, I usually push when I am doing other things away from comp and make my mouse autoclick the make potion button for as long as I am away
When I have as many potions as I will get this run I fill up the purple orb, then the green. After that I drink all the potions at once, then activate the purple star things. After that, I autoclick the enemies and move onto the next stage as fast as possible.
That is a good bit of information, I never really thought of timing the orbs based on potions vs manual and their combined effects or that manually starting the orbs was resetting the gains from the potions.
and cash shop +3s should add a little
The Druid has a skill that gives a 1% bonus to each orb, each second that they're active. Not a big deal. BUT this doesn't go away when the orb is inactive. Run for 300s for +300%, start them up again and they're already at +300% and growing. Give him a few levels of this skill and run that 300s several times. Brew potions each time you drop in to the computer to tell him to start up again, too. Only when you're totally out of patience, should you start the spheres one last time, hit the purple star, and drink all the blue potions. For long runs, this should be better than the Sea Princess (or whatever she's called) (whose skill gives a straight multiplier bonus to spheres).
Oh and a quick tip about magic guild on Steam its only the total modifier made by your Green Sphere (it doesn't include Purple)
Open one sphere. Wait 60 seconds. Open the other sphere.
When one sphere ends and doesn't automatically restart, drink a magic potion. This will add 1 minute to the one that is still running and will start the other for its full length. Then, since you have the artifacts boosted, the sphere will reset once guaranteed when it runs out. So you have more than 2 minutes on each sphere so if you're minding the game, you can make a new potion before the 2nd sphere runs out. When 1 sphere runs out, drink a potion.
Rinse and repeat. You can juggle the spheres (having both open most of the time) for as long as you want.
That way they never *both* run out, and the druid skill doesn't reset.
