そもそものアイデアは面白い。奇抜なゲームデザインながらも細かい調整によって出オチではなく戦略的なプレイも十分に可能なはず。
ルール説明こそテキストオンリーで分かりづらいがコミュニティガイドで補完できるしゲーム内のパズルモードも理解の助けになる。ボードゲームにありがちなオンライン対戦オンリーのシステムではなく一端末のみのプレイ、難易度を調整しての戦、特別ルール、ルームマッチもある。

しかし、オンライン対戦で持ち時間がないせいで一ターンごとにとてつもない長考合戦が始まってしまうのが辛い。
ゲームデザイン上持ち時間を決めづらいというのは分かるが、それでも何らかの持ち時間に類するものはかけておいてもらいたい。
CPU戦で練習を重ねてワクワクしながら行った初めての対人戦で、相手ターンのあまりの長さに裏で別ゲーをしながらもプレイを続けて最終的に相手が離席して勝った時は真顔になった。「オススメしない」を押すまで考えた。

CPU戦やパズルモードならレスポンスがとても速く快適で、ルムマなら恐らくそこら辺の問題点も解決されるだろうからそれらメインなら何の問題もないはず。
現在はルームを立てる際に持ち時間の有無、持ち時間の長さなどを設定できるようになっている

IQがいくらあっても足りない。タグが「精神的恐怖」なのも頷けます。でもとても楽しい。

通常の盤面でプレイしようとすると考えることが多すぎる上に時間がめちゃくちゃかかるので、初めのうちはCPU対戦で「small」や「very small」にして遊ぶことをお勧めします。
もしくはパズルモード（将棋でいうところの詰将棋）でも良いと思います。

あと、どうでもいいことですが2次元の盤面と時間軸と並行世界軸なので４次元な気がします。

I was playing a game against a human opponent online, and at one point they sent a queen back in time from one of the ten timelines currently in play to put five of my past kings into check at once. I sent one of my own pieces even further back to stall, and they proceeded to send one of their queens back to the start of the game to try and beat me before I even got to that point. I was able to maneuver one of my bishops in the second-most divergent timeline into position to capture the queen in the alternate present once we got back to that point and save the game (I eventually won by checkmating their king 5 turns in the past)

If you have no idea what I just wrote, I hardly do either, this game makes my head hurt and yet eventually your mind's eye is opened to the cosmic structure of the universe -

Perfect for chess novices, because even if you play against an expert, they're just as confused as you are.

Send your queen backwards through time like the terminator out to assassinate John Connor.
But wait! Your opponent has sent their knight across an alternate timeline to foil your plans!
Crush his hopes by sending your queen back again through time!
Now you have three queens and your bishop doesn't know he's about to be squashed by a rook three moves in the future!
In your original timeline, three pieces just vanish into thin air and you won two turns ago.

It makes sense after your head stops hurting.

I can now checkmate you in the past, in the present, and in parallel universes all at once, and neither of us will understand why.
