Windows 10 Required?

I bought this game assuming it would run on Windows 7 but when it didn't launch I checked the requirements and saw that it requires Windows 10. Is this a hard requirement or something that could be worked around or addressed in an update?

I'm also on Windows 7, and couldn't launch the game. I tried launching from the exe too, which gave me this error message:

The program can't start because api-ms-win-shcore-scaling-l1-1-1.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

I looked it up, and apparently 'shcore' is only on Windows 8 and above :(

Hopefully this is something that can be fixed

Windows 7 isn't even supported by Microsoft anymore. You shouldn't be using it unless you want to be at a security risk. You can update to Windows 10 for free.

For those wondering: it also works fine on Linux with Proton. No Windows required.

No just a stupid operating system that isn't exactly compatible with all games, stop being a paranoid conspiracy theorist thinking your so important that people want to look at you or steal your data out of billions xD Not like they can make a ton of money from you.

@OP, Just upgrade to windows 10 for free, don't see what the biggie is, ITS FREE and SAFE
