To many plant pins! Help!

There are so many plants and when I see shiny ones i try to pick them up, but now I'm noticing that I've picked up some duplicate shiny ones and they're taking up space.

I want to collect one of each plant variety for my journal, but I don't want to completely clutter my base, something I'm even more worried about given the duplicate plants. Is there a way to get rid of some or does the patches around our base just keep growing indefinitely to allow for room for all the plant? I want my base to look nice and not fill every possible square with stuff

You can pick them up (up to 5 at a time) and store them in the house.
