But I discovered at the beginning of the game I can choose for a resolution which fits my screen somewhat better (with option 'fullscreen')
i have it om fullscreen
Really: Dual-screen? For THIS game? Are you freakin' KIDDING me? JESUS, this game was released BARELY after the gawdamned INTERNET was born! WTF is WRONG with you? Wake TF UP, jackholes!
It's a game that was actually ahead of its time when it was designed and published, revolutionary and ground-breaking, utilizing the same video rendering technology used to develop Hitman 2: Silent Assassin.
People whining about this game deserve nothing but contempt. Friggin' babies. GROW TF UP!
P.S.: I am playing the game right now on a 144 Hz refresh-rate monitor at a resolution of 2560x1440. Do you see ME whining? Works JUST FINE. But, really: dual screen? Are you freakin' KIDDING me? Talk about using the wrong tool for the job!
got to
%APPDATA%\IO Interactive\Freedom Fighters\Freedom.ini (2020 Re-release).
open it in notepad and check for Resolution for me it was set to 3840x2160 i changed it to 1920x1080 which was my screen resolution you can set it to your main monitor's screen resolution, save the file and for safer side open the properties of Freedom.ini and check Read Only option save the file and launch the game it should fix the issue.
