Need help setting up a simple online league for me and my dad

Hi guys, I could really use some help setting up an online league for me and my dad so we can play from our own computers. I am not terrible with computers, but I'm not a wizard either! I am new to Franchise hockey Manager. My dad and i have been waiting for NHL to come up with franchise mode for 2 people and we stumbled across this game.
We both purchased the game already.
I understand that I am the commissioner, i create 2 GM's and assign them to 2 different teams. When I try to learn how to create the online league, I get a bit lost. I don't know how to fill out the online league FTP options. I'm not sure what FTP is either. I'm lost when it comes to putting in your HOST and PORT, etc.
I believe this game can be saved to my google drive? That's easier? If we can get that far.
It has been pretty frustrating trying to figure this out. I would have thought I would have read a feed like this already.... why aren't you guys having this problem? is filling out that FTP options page common knowledge? lol

I'm no expert on this portion of the game but here's what your dad can do if you are running your league as commish.

When your dad clicks on the export to ftp server and it spits out an error / whatever its saying, it automatically creates a filename .. Have your dad go into the file folder that your league is called and have him look in a folder called IMPORTS_EXPORTS. There should be a team_29.fhm (The 29 is Tampa bay lighting so this number will be different, depending on your dads team)

Have him just send this to you via email / messenger etc.. and it cuts out needing a ftp server and all that mumbo jumbo.

I believe you add this into your own IMPORTS_EXPORTS folder and it updates all his changes... after that you just overwrite this file with his, each time he sends you a new one.
