I realy like this game, only factor that is hindering me to play this game much more, is that it does not work well on Linux with Proton. It is playable, but the teleportation glitch, and disapearing / missing notes does make it prettymuch unplayable.
Here is the Github Issue in the hopes, that the developers are willing to help fix this issue.
https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/4991
Might also help to contact Steam, because if I understand correctly, Steam also is putting a lot of development work into making Windows games work with Proton so Linux users can buy & run them through Steam.
I think most of that work is focused on flat games though (Valve wants players to be able to run Windows games on Steam's Linux gaming machine, the Steam Deck).
But who knows -- if you reach out to them they might be able to help with this in some way since Valve is doing most of the work with Proton.
In any case... thank you for investigating this matter.
Did you ever hear anything back from FMOD about this?
Super glad to hear. Looking forward to playing this when I install Linux in a few months.
