Some general feedback

Hey there, I was pretty excited about this game and after trying it out on game pass, I felt a little disappointed with the lack of polish. Throwing together some feedback below of some first impressions (~1-2 hours)

The good

• General mechanics feel like a solid starting point
  
• Playing with pros feels decent
  
• Player animations during rallies are good

The not-so-good

• The transition between points is sudden and a little jarring.
  
• The "volley modifier" should be called "rush the net". I found it confusing that I wasn't able to complete the volley tutorial - until I realized the "volley modifier" makes the player sprint to the net (using the stick to rush the net would cause the ball to bounce twice)
  
• "Transitions" "Aim Marker" and "Ball Effect" options need some kind of description to clarify what they do
  
• Commentary can be repetitive and annoying at times

The broken

• When starting off in career mode, it's near impossible to win a point without constantly rushing the net (problem isn't present when playing an exhibition with the pros).
  
• The player often goes off the screen (below the camera) when doing baseline rallies
  
• The "close" camera view makes it impossible to see the ball marker
  
• Commentary cues sometimes don't make sense

The nice to haves

• Modifier to run around what would otherwise be a backhand
  
• Option to challenge calls
  
• More camera angles

You can just lob the ball in and the CPU will make a mistake within the first 5 shots its actually complete babymode even on hardest difficulty you dont even really need to aim or anything

- Transitions is the short clip after a rally.
- Aim Marker enables the small dark dot that shows you exactly where you are aiming.
- Ball effect enables or disaables the ball trail.

Thanks. I understood the first two, but had no idea about the ball trail.

Edit: damn, I have booted the game to play, and forgot to pay attention to the trail. :D
