Is this game still happening?

Forgot this game has been "in the work" for a while, anyone knows if it's still happening?

Well, PLayWay mentioned as publisher on the game page, so it's still a possibility.

In case you don't know: it's a testing strategy by PlayWay. They create fake video/screenshots in editor, post them as a game teaser in Steam and if enough people adds it in wishlist, they create/hire studio to develop game according to previously created screenshots.

Apparently not many people decided to wishlist this game after abandoning turn-base combat. Game still have a chance for being developed, if a lot of people suddenly wishlist it.


But even if this game get's green light, don't expect too much. Usually PlayWay hire studios with almost zero experience in game development so it's extremely rare to have a decent game from them.

Last time they "talked" about this game was in october 2020 https://fb.gg/v/8t-Y6fHVY_/ So we're 1 year later and still no sign of life. I think it's safe to say they have abandoned it.

Well, games usually take 5-6 years to develop. Back in the 90s a company mentioned or "let some information slip" in the media that they are working on something, then you didn't hear from it for 4 years, then they started advertising and releasing a demo and after a year or two later the game releases in a fully functional patched state. So the fact that there is no info since 2020 which was last year means nothing to me. I'd rather just have it this way then a company arteficialy trying to keep a hypetrain running for years until a game is ready only for fans to get impatient and preasuring them to release the game before it's finished (hello cyberpunk, looking at you). I would definitvly like to so this game if it is anything like Alpha Protocoll which is still one of the best spy games in my opinion. I just dont "wishlist" games until I know they are what I'm looking for.

The Hands of Playway S.A. are in it, so either it won't get developed at all or it will be developed and will be a ♥♥♥♥ game.

I've blocked their games from popping up in my discovery queue, instantly raised the quality of it by removing all their scams...

how can you block a certain publisher from showing up? Would be very helpfull

You have to go on their publisher site here on Steam and there you got an extra set of options, where you can block them.

Hmm, it seems like they deleted their page.
Normally, when you click on the name of the developer or publisher, a page should open, showing all their games and there you could click a setting to ignore that publisher.

Probably too many people chose to ignore these S.A. publishers and developers, hurting their business model, so they took the page down to prevent that, that is my theory.

Well the page opens but there is no setting to ignore the publisher. Sadly..... this would be a great feature.

There you should find an options icon next to the report flag, when you click that, you can click there to ignore them.
