Favorite weapon?

Been playing the arena for awhile but i've been struggling on the hardest difficulty, especially with those fireball throwing vagene demons. Still don't know whats better range or speed. Those original two blades with ranged attack seem like the best weapon to me. What about you? What weapons do you prefer?

If they're throwing fireballs at you, then ranged automatically seems off the table. The sword seems like the best bet.

Yeah after playing some more i gotta agree, that golden swords seems like the best weapon atm.

Are you kidding? This demo got me nearly 13 mins to pass on this "hardest" mode :0
But those flying little sheets with their fireballs are rlly annoying. I've tried all weapons - speed seems much usefull against hobo-mobs.

How do you do it? By wave 3-4 i'm below half health, it's a pain in the ass to do finishers cause whenever you stun a mob he gets lost among the 10+ other mobs that chase you around the arena.

Do you use the heavy attack at all? Can't tell if theres a difference in damage

No, not really. For one, you are too overwhelmed with enemies to use it and as you said, dont notice a difference in damage.
