Really? a monthly Subscription service for membership just to have access to and i quote "All the quests and a larger world to explore."? so you're actively locking the part of the base game behind a subscription paywall. Id much rather pay idk, a $30 flat fee instead of the game being free and get access to all the quests and the entirety of the game world to unlock naturally through playing. The membership service alone makes me not want to play this game ever. That means as soon as you decide to abandon this game that service will be worthless and people will literally lose access to parts of the game. Though all the negative reviews are more about you Devs being sh***y and forcing MTX down your players throat without actually fixing any issues that have been in this game for two decades. Oh well, got excited for a minute at least.

Oh yea you must be looking for a game with a dev team constantly updating and improving it for over 15 years for a one time $30 dollar buy? lol keep dreaming. its like 90 bucks a year and most people that play play large amounts of hours its worth it quit crying. or get a job.

First, the $30 was just a random number as an example. most complete triple A games (even ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ones and live service ones) are like $60-90 total flat price but the point was there should be a flat price. Secondly, its $130 a year for a subscription or $179 if you pay $14.99 monthly which is still a ridiculous amount of money. You play for say five years you're spending $650 or $895 if you pay monthly. Idc how much content is in a game, there's a point where you've spent more money than the amount of new content they could ever put in the game, especially if you play often and actually go through all the quests in a few years and are relegated to doing other random repetitive ♥♥♥♥. Making the game look better doesnt count as fixing mechanical issues and combat fluidity etc etc for example. Game still sucks for expecting you to shell out an indefinite amount of money.

Lastly, I have a job f***k-face. I'm still allowed to think certain things are bull***t.

Game allows for purchasing membership with in game currency and after playing for a month it is very easy to afford, just playing casually you can earn about 5 mil in an hour, and membership is about 28 mil as of right now, that means after only 6 days you can buy 14 days of membership and that's only if you played an hour a day.

Combat fluidity is hardly an issue in RuneScape, if you are referring to bossing I guess the old phrase comes to mind: "git gud scrub".
