Is it even possible to use the remote farm device at all?

I don't think you actually can and there is no way to use it or unlock a spell at the farm. What were they thinking?! So fat I can't use it without thousands of astral, nature, and earth runes and s spell unlocked at the livid farm? I don't think there is indication at all. I want to see some proof if it can be done. Some proof.

Why would it not be possible?
The cost is to build the device, after that it's the same as casting the remote farm spell by interacting with it.
It's the same as building portals in your poh. You pay an upfront cost to make it infinite.

SH1T! I knew there was that Astral spell I can use when swapping spells with the Astral rock or whatever it's called. That quest I did in 2012 was Lunar Diplomacy. That was possible to beat. I haven't play this game in a while and forgot all about it.
