How Can I defeat Nex with Necromancy?

Pretty much the title. I get absolutely stomped by this boss even when trying to follow guides (I got stomped with a ranged set up a few months back and gave up). So obviously trying with a different gear set up than the guides is absolutely horrendous. The main issue I'm having is the blood phase, I can't kill the Blood reavers fast enough, by the time I have Nex is already doing the blood sacrifice attack. And by the time I avoid that, Nex summons the next set of blood reavers. Regardless of what I'm doing Nex seems to outheal anything I can do.

To make matter worse I have already burned through a considerable portion of my food on the prior phases. My most recent encounter at about 15 minutes in they had healed back up above 160K life so I gave up as I had already emptied my familiar (mammoth) of food and had made negative progress.

I used the best Overload, have BiS necklace and Ring, am wearing a skill cape, have a Blessed Flask for prayer points, have ectoplasm for summons, have runes for defensive abilities, ect.

Is there a way I should set up my abilities bar for Nex for better results?

Should I come back at Necomancy level 90 since I won't be ensouling my subjugation robes until then anyway? (At 90 you can use an overload to draw Multiply 3 glyphs on the spare tiles you unlock at that level, allowing for 1 subjugation piece to become 4 greater ensouled cloths instead of just 1)

Overall though I am not good at bossing in the slightest and get shredded by high end bosses. I don't have a clan or friends who play that can help me out either.

well nex is still pretty difficult solo even if you have good gear and i would say stop trying to kill her with a skill thats new your hitrate is going to be ♥♥♥♥ for nex because here defence is so high

You don't have to kill the Blood Reavers. They can be safely ignored.

If you're struggling to do enough damage to get through blood phase, you can try stacking up resources for the start of it. 3 Residual souls, 12 stacks of Necrosis, Vengeful Ghost up with the Command Vengeful Ghost ability used, Skeleton Warrior up, enough adrenaline for Death Skulls. Just unload on her right after she finishes her Blood Siphon with all that and you'll burn through that 40k hp quickly.

And just to confirm, you have your T80 weapons, right? The accuracy from those over T70 are huge on Nex with her very high defense and armor.

If you're still struggling with the tomorrow, I could help you get those kills. Just remember I'll only be able to do so much, as you have to get the drops.

I do not have a T80 weapon as to get the upgrade I need to get 5 drops from Nex with Necromancy kills. Should I have done the tank line 1st?

Yeah, the weapons are the same, regardless. The tank one's easier, so do that one then you'll have better damage for Nex.

I'd recommend going the Tank side first for the weapons. The Power Armor is designed to be harder to get, so don't stress too much about trying to nail that without atleast going for your T80 weapons, if not T90.

That said, if you can kill Araxxi, Telos and Ambassador with the T80 weapons for T90 do that because ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ does T90 tank have a lot of stuff to do.

T90 looks rough as, I can't even get past the 2nd boss in Shadow reef. Do Deathtouch darts work for these rewards? (I assume no). As I have tons of them saved from previous Treasure Hunter rewards.

I haven't tried it, but I don't think darts work. They deal ranged damage, and you need to kill them with necromancy.

I heard darts will work for Ambassador if you hit it with Necro and someone else then darts it. Haven't tried that as I'm not at T90 stage. But if true that sounds like a great skip.
