no sound in game

there is no sound in game when i play runescape, when i play other steam games is normal, why is this happened

In the game's settings is everything set to on / one thing set to global mute? One thing off can effect global mute. Also check if your monitor's audio output isn't prioritised over your headphone outlet.

If you mean you only hear some SFX and there seems to be severe lack of in game sounds/ambiance/combat sfx, then I'm with you.
I have all my options turned to max and half the time the game feels muted. I assumed it was just the games basic design, but maybe we have a setting wrong?

I already maxed everything in sound mixer, but there is no sound at all
