Sliding Block Puzzles
I don't like em. I also don't like looking up walkthroughs on a game meant for children. Why does this game keep springing these on me? I'll spend an hour on one ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ puzzle! I'm 27! My brain doesn't learn things anymore, it just tells me to go kill myself!

or google alt1 for runescape if you don't like clicking links
I don't use it but a LOT do and they all say it's approved or at least tolerated by Jagex

Whoa whoa whoa :SG0_BestGirl: I don't think you're dumb. I don't think anyone knows you enough to make that assumption. Your brain never stops learning: it's just that your natural habituation skill-set gets worn down as your age and ultimately can turn into 'this' because of a few failures. If you decide you have nothing left to learn you will have problems learning new things - stay in a constant state of learning and things will come naturally. I should know, I have a guilt complex and sometimes I get angry because of it. It's just secondary emotion but it dissolves our logical thinking with emotional reasoning depleting problem solving skills we may have had before we lost our reasoning to anger.

I would encourage you to learn:

Look at the image with 1,2,3,4,5,6 labeled. Solve these in order with an open puzzle available so that you can check on your progress. Downloading ALT1 is another thing you could consider doing but it doesn't teach you how to do a puzzlebox and JAGEX can flip-flop on their stance at any time in respect to its use. I'd just learn the real way.

Weeeelll yes and no, Jagex mods themselves actuslly use Alt1 publicly, including during live streams for if/when they do clues, so to turn around and say that using it isn't okay would be quite hypocritical wouldn't you say?

Sliding puzzles are extremely easy to solve and should never take more than a few short minutes to solve and you don't really need a guide or Alt-1 to do them. You just need to follow a few simple steps.

https://runescape.wiki/w/Treasure_Trails/Guide/Puzzle_boxes

The image on that page is a golden rule for solving sliding puzzles and it works for every single one you'll encounter in the game. It makes it really quick and simple to solve.

Now, take a deep breath, calm down and go back and learn how to do them properly.

If you really can't be asked to use your brain, a guide, or a program that solves it for you, there's always https://runescape.wiki/w/Puzzle_box_skipping_ticket
