Can I Delete/Reset My Character

Started playing today and have just realised that im playing as ironman, how do i reset or delete my character ?

No, but you can make another account quickly by making a new email.

There is an npc called Mr ex which removes the ironman mode from the account.
Be aware this is not reversable.

Any idea how to unlink the old account? I couldnt find any info on the steam preferences or on the game login inferface

I know this is super old, but since it came up pretty high in the search results I think it's worth mentioning that you can now create a new character using the Runescape website. There's a character management option now.

It was super janky for me and took a while to unlink from my old character and add it to my new one. This may have been because I also upgraded the account to a Jagex account.

Just a note, after you make a new character it will say like "no name set". Be aware, that after you link "no name set" and start the game from Steam it will still say "logging in as: <old character name>" but if you continue, login, and setup a new character then the next time you start the game from Steam it will show "logging in as: <new character name>".
