I can not access my account from steam, nor on the runescape page

Greetings, this is urgent, my account from 20 years ago cannot be logged in either on steam or on the official runescape page. Change the password twice and I always get the message that the username and password are wrong. I do not know what happens and I do not want to lose my account of 20 years with a very large monetary investment in real, please I need urgent help.

Reaching out on their Twitter is the only way to get help. All I know is accounts before...2011...you use your username you signed up with to sign in.

I already know that, but I always get the message "you have tried to enter many times, wait 5 minutes" or that the username and password are incorrect, change the password twice and the error keeps getting. I don't want to lose my account for more than 20 years. :, (

dude, i tried to log in , my accounts 20 years old too, i was banned for botting. i never touched a bot program. somthing fked up is going on. if you didnt set security questions your fked. jagex security must have been hacked theres no other excuse. you cant trust the bstrds. starting a new account is pointless, im sure it will be fkin hacked too. fk this game hard.

If you're getting that error try using a VPN or resetting the router/modem.

hotaka you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ moron, gtfo steam. you obviously have no fking idea whats going on. dragon if you do get your password like i finally did, mine was doing the same sht when i finally got logged in to see the ban. for some reason when u go to log in on the home page it says you tried to many times and wait an hour. do you have your email you used? my sht was saying the same thing but my password was the same as its always been. its all glitched out, probablt from the steam release. they probably banned and locked out a sht ton of people because they are retarded like hotaka.you are not the only one tho i been talking to a sht ton of people on discord, all going through the same stuff. theres a discord now full of people banned for no reason, runescape twitter wont do anything they are ignoring everyone

i was able to get it working and log in on the home page by changing the password with the forgot password link. it bypassed the hour wait which is bs because i waited for over an hour and it still said it.

I already solved it, they blocked my account because the system did not recognize my mail and at least I started to enter many times. Anyway thanks for the data. And no, I would never use the VPN change since my country is not banned from runescape 3, for something I have 20 years playing. :)

Well the VPN has nothing to do with the country being banned. I'm not sure why, but some people get that "too many attempts" even when they've only tried once and logging in via a VPN once fixed the issue. I've had to do it once. Not sure what causes it.

But I'm glad you figured it out.

Don't break the rules and turn to spamming forums with gaslighting bs because you got caught. Yes, many false bans happen, but your campaign of rage and inability to lift the ban clearly says it wasn't a false ban.
