sadly the starter pack dosen't have a disclaimer that ironman and hardcore ironman don't benefit from the keys if you die as a hardcore ironman you become a ironman not a normal account

Actually a recent update changed it. HCIM no longer need the Jar of Divine Light. When they die they automatically convert to normal iron regardless if they've obtained the item.
And since that summer, we see only one kind of death broadcasts for HCIM for this exact reason.
I know it as I have 2 HCIM characters. One I enjoyed for some time and has a few 99s, in prif, has access to oerthen dig site, etc. But I decided to finance a HCIM for a friend... It takes time for him to make any progress, but luckily I had a mostly unused HCIM account (with a few skills reached 2) I had a chance to bring out... Blew all the money I saved on no longer needing that jar on Construction and Herblore...
