Starting herblore cant buy any guam leaf

At level 1 you can clean guam leaf or make attack potions, both need guam leaf.
Problem is no one is selling guam leaves? Am I missing something?
I come from OSRS where it always insta buys. Here it seems completely dead.

If you can't buy guam leaves, then your price is too low. because of some new players the lower tier stuff might be muhc more expensive now. It could be even three or four times the suggested GE price. It's not dead at all. you just have the wrong price. those things also happen in OSRS.

Nothing.

Probably lack of supply, i'd recommend going and killing troll Shamans,Chuckers,and brutes.

I managed to get a few leafs to scrape enough xp to get lvl 5
tarrormin insta buys so Im good now I can start training herblore

Did you complete Druidic Ritual? I believe you get some from finishing the herblore quest. Also some f2p NPC's drop low leveled herbs

just like @kfell225 said i belive you need to finish Druidic Ritual Quest which is the one that show you how herb work.

There should be a herblore supplies store in Taverly that sells guam

Not likely if he's trying to buy at 2-3x the GE price but the latest change was -4%.

Probably just a lack of supply. If you can't find any, you could try killing https://runescape.wiki/w/Adolescent_White_wolf. They have a pretty good drop rate for them.
