Metal Bank: How does it work?

Can i leave stuff in the metal bank when i log out? will it still be in the bank once i return?

The metal bank is used to store ores and bars, it'll be in the bank regardless if you log in or out.

Since the metal bank can be accessed using an anvil/furnace it is a great time saver as you only have to carry ores and bars around with if you need to hand them into an NPC during a quest.

With the new system higher tier gear would be impossible to smith as they require more than 28 Bars to smith/upgrade.

EDIT: Also, calling the new Smithing easier isn't necessarily true. It is more AFKable but slower if you AFK 100% of the time. The old Smithing was faster if you were active but ultimately was an useless skill above certain level.
