can I play the game without having to enter those zones? i don't like pvp and losing stuff is not my type of game
When you die you keep a few items and the rest are put in your grave. You will then be teleported to Death's Office where you can pay a small fee based on the overall cost of what you lost to get it all back instantly. ALTERNATIVELY if you can make it back to the location (if it's a special instance like a quest boss it typically appears in the safe area just outside the boss) you died you will find a grave marker for you and all your items can be reclaimed from it for free. The grave marker only lasts a short amount of time though and if it goes poof you will have to pay to reclaim your items from death. If you die a second time in a row without reclaiming your items your old ones he is holding will be overwritten by the new ones permanently removing them from the game.
So most of the time if you die you just pay a small fee at death or make a quick run to your grave marker and it's no big deal, death is only dangerous in the wildy and only if you get skulled. But this is why if you plan to do any really dangerous content you always bring with you a 1-click emergency teleport of some kind. An item/spell that clicking it will immediately teleport you safely away before you die.
oh that doesn't sound so bad, thanks!
