You can indeed! If you were to pick up the 3month package, you could, at the end of the year, get the premier club package - which is 1 year of membership at reduced monthly rates.
Personally, I recommend trying both.
OSRS and RS3 are both fun and enjoyable in their own right. OSRS is more grindy and has the classic MMO feels out of 2007-2008. RS3 is modernized and feels a bit more current.
OS is slower, by a longshot, to progress, while RS3 you can progress to the endgame content much faster. RS3 also has updated quest lines that are phenomenal (post about 2010 release date).
Whats the reason for that? I really like both and I dont mind the graphics( I even like osrs graphics more) but I want to know what really makes the difference
I've spent 2 years in OSRS, and I don't want to say how many in RS2/RS3. If you'd like, add me ingame (GeoRaider) and i can help you out if you have questions. I'll be on later tonight.
What quest is it you were working on? The lamp is probably from treasure hunter. If you aren't planning on subscribing anytime soon, you can destroy the lamp - you'll get more in the future.
They share the same account, friends list, and everything like that. Just not skills. :)
