F2P Way to Farm Membership

Im enjoying the game, but since i have to pay for having more content, is there a way to get enought gold to buy the membership being f2p?

Yes, you can buy an in-game item called "Bond" and exchange it for 14 days membership.

Currently, the only good enough methods in F2P are collecting Silk, excavating Archeology nodes and selling the materials, and non-gameplay methods like flipping items on the GE or pretending to be a girl and ERPing for money on World 3

Off the top of my head, I am not sure of any crazy methods to make money fast at the early game. Perhaps killing cows for their hides in lumbridge will help a good bit. Hides should sell for approximately 1,000 gold each.

You can also do shop runs each day, which means going to the various shops you can access and buying out their stock, and reselling it on the grand exchange.

Membership affords you significantly more options from elite dungeon 3 farming to clue scrolls.

A bond, I believe was around 24 million gold last I recall. Once you have membership, it becomes much easier to maintain bond.

Best thing to do is collect either: Silk, Cowhide or make bronze bars all are selling over market price as there is an event on called travelling merchant, silk has been going for 5k each and cowhides where going for 3k which could net you 3 - 5m an hour, also tanning hides at a portable crafter is usually a good option but requires some starter money. if you check the items currently needed on the wiki for the travelling merchant event, alot of them will most likely make you profit make sure you check the prices in the grand exchange first though by buying 1 for way over price then selling for 1gp to check the margins of the item

In my opinion, activating a bond asap when you are low leveled might not be the best idea. The upkeep of buying bonds becomes drastically easy'er when you are higher level and in the lower levels upkeeping bonds will keep your account stalled drastically because money can be used to level up a bunch of usefull skills that will help you in the future.

If you run out of free to play content or want to experience the members content I would try out a month of membership from the official runescape site to not pay the extra steam fees and such.

id suggest archeology as even its early materials and decent cash are its nice n afk.

there also an arch update coming soon and if its like normal arch locations even the low level materials will be needed thus prices will be higher soon

Chaos energy is good money but is a risk because it's in the wilderness other players can attack and kill you and you'll lose your energies, they can't be sold on GE only trade
