Small Grand Exchange Bug
The Grand Exchange works perfectly fine when you're changing the market value and explicitly pressing "Enter" to verify the value.

However, if you type in the value, and then just click off, it shows that the intended value to be correct, but when uploading it to the Grand Exchange for trade, it sets it at market value.

I'm experiencing exactly the same!? Any solutions yet?

Just don't click off of it then? The solution is to hit ENTER after specifying your value...

thats not a bug u didnt confirm enter the value

I posted the same thing on their subreddit, and they confirmed that it isn't a bug, but rather a change to how the game handles data. In previous years, you could simply click off and it would confirm the values you put in, because previously everything was server-sided. So any data change that you would do, would be sent over, even if you confirmed it or not.

Now, they want to reduce the amount of packets sent over (likely to reduce the load that phones and phone providers have). So everything is client-sided until you NEED information from the server. The only down side is that if you type in a value into the Grand Exchange and hit Enter too fast, it won't register either because of packet loss.

Also, thanks to everyone who stated the obvious and was not very helpful. I'm aware that pressing enter would solve the problem. That's stated in the video description.

This post was to bring up a possible quality of life change to the ninja team, because clicking off still shows the correct value. If it isn't going to register the correct value, maybe it shouldn't show the correct value.

Alternative -- you know the fix, you know what to do, but because you cannot be bothered to make a single keypress it's somehow a ninja fix problem?

Get a grip. Just hit the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ key after typing your number

I can see that you're a loyal fan to RuneScape, and I appreciate your input, but you're missing the entire point of my post and comments. Like I said, I'm aware of the solution, and I have been since the beginning.

Emphasis on possible QoL change. For those who are veterans to the game, a small thing like this is second nature to them. But for new players, seeing a false value set in the Grand Exchange after typing in the number (but not clicking enter), is an inconvenience.

Not everything brought up needs to be "lmao get gud, just play the game and put in 13k hours into learning the system." That's why there's a ninja team in the first place, because if they have free time and something is bothering the player base, and it would be an inconsequential change for them, why not, right?

But yes, please. Tell me to get a grip for suggesting a small QoL change. Because you definitely suggested otherwise and provided any evidence to your claim instead of attacking the poster. /s

You're asking on Steam instead of their forums. What exactly did you think was going to happen for asking for a change?

You already know why they do it. You already know the solution.
Tell me, what the actual ♥♥♥♥ is your problem then?!? :steamfacepalm::steamfacepalm::steamfacepalm:
