Free to play in RuneScape is basically a demo to get you hooked so you buy membership. The best way to earn money in free to play worlds is to work archaeology up to 20 and farm the materials to sell. They sell at 1500-2000 or higher and are very fast to farm, I know plenty of people, including some in the clan that I run, that have earned bonds through that. The game is not even close to dead, in fact it is growing with the launch on steam.
It is very misleading to say that the game is dead when all you have to do is go to the Grand Exchange in world 2 and you will see hundreds of players there trading. Go to world 84 at the lumbridge market, you will lag and maybe crash your client with how many players are there.
There are plenty of people in the game if you know where to look.
You actually suggest to farm Archeology in F2P?
The very same way I should probably pay the money for P2P just to do the quest, that would allow me to mine Gold/Silver properly, which then allow me to raise the crafting further than ~30 or so... Also only in P2P because crafting in F2P is no more, although the guild is accesable...
Making threads is the exact same way it's been for well over a decade.
Botting has never been allowed to be discussed basically anywhere, same with bugs.
Clay was never a great way to level crafting. Crafting Gold and Silver to bars hasn't changed, same with crafting jewelery.
Hobgoblins are resistant to ranged since they're melee. Of course you're not going to hit a level 32 (Since there is no such thing as a level 30 hobgoblin) with 30 range accurately. Try actually comparing a monster that's weak to range to a low defense monster instead of using such obvious bad examples.
Looks to me you're the one who doesn't understand much about balance.
Earning money in Members requires large investments, 70+ in many different skills, if not higher, or bossing. A new player with little money and low stats is not going to be earning 10m an hour like you're suggesting.
Fun fact: The F2P world is larger than it's ever been with being able to do skills to level 5, with new weapons and armor being available.
This game has always been flooded with bots. No different than before, just like the mods not allowing discussion about botting/bugs and the like.
Another day, another trashpost done by a clueless player. Nothing to see here folks.
I have over 10,000 hours in this game over 16 years, you know nothing. I made that post to try to help you out.
Correcting misinformation is important to do. Otherwise you have morons believing him because no-one said otherwise. Atleast in the latter you've got some people believing the factual statements vs morons like the OP spamming nonsense.
He's already failed as a "troll" since his positions cannot be defended with any kind of logic or reasoning. If anything, he sounds like an angry child who got scammed or PK'd and thinks the game is bad due to his own cluelessness.
At this point, he's got a number of people correcting his lack of basic understanding of the game and showing he doesn't have a clue what he's babbling about.
You feel wrong. I've been playing this game since long before OSRS was a thing. While RS3 has a massive problem with overworld crowding, especially in F2P areas (the area south of Falador in particular is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mess), the F2P world has not got any smaller. If anything it's gotten bigger, since Burthorpe and Taverley are free-to-play areas in RS3.
besides the balance issues; the biggest problem this game has is the low tickrate and the lack of matchmaking for minigames.
they should go with the time and increase tickrate, but then they would need to patch 90% of their code... so they wont do it and let this game be dead on low-tickrate.
they should implement matchmaking, so that PVP and minigames would become a blast !
