like a party hat or santa hat. At that point the amount of christmas food left in the game will slowly drop over time and there for go up in price because people collect that kind of stuff

Then again, these event food has been appearing for a couple of times already. From the time i returned to this game until now (2-3years) it has returned for each Christmas event so far. So the chance that it will stop dropping is very unlikely.

Yeah, I think Jagex has been careful in recent history to not add more discontinued items into the game, and if they are, making them untradeable.

Just fools who think they're on a gravy train by buying up useless junk. No different than any other hype over any other potentially "limited" item.

But hey, if they want to hoard something absolutely useless and won't have any real value, who am I to suggest fools shouldn't be separated from their money?

I still have my water balloons from long ago from one of the summer events, not tradable at all, that's how lucky I am

Jagex has a track record of running the same event for 2-3 years and then moving on to a new one. The foods are pretty common though so I suspect it would be at least 10 years before they are worth anything, assuming the game is still around by then. The 20th anniversary is in January though so who really knows.

I didn't even know it was special food, I've just been throwing it on the ground.

It may be worth billions soon.

This ^. It was the same way with the barrels of monkeys a couple summers ago. People bought them and stockpiled them. Now they're worthless. We get the same Christmas food every single year. It's not special lol.

I think they get removed from the game from what i see on the wiki. So they are basically throwing away money.
welp i know i'm making money atleast selling my food for 15k/10k per food
