What EXACTLY makes RS3 easier than OSRS?
I’ve heard over and over again that R3 is easier. Why is that? Is it just the xp boosts wed micro transactions?

If you take those out, is RS3 still easier?

Do you get more xp per action?

Is there less xp needed to level up?

Is it just more AFKable?

I also heard the RS3 Ironman is EASIER than normal, non-Ironman OSRS. Is that true?

More Afk/semi afk
Dxps wks. 4 a year
Much higher xp rates, lots of skills have rates of 1m+ at higher levels per hour
Far less hours per billion gp, which can speed leveling of a lot skills if you wanted
Even just free daily keys and oddments add 10's of millions of bxp a year

Iron in both games has lost any challenge it had at release if it's not your 1st attempt at RS
But I agree that if I had to max a char I'd prefer to max a Rs3 iron than a normal osrs char
I couldn't max another osrs char anyway though, different games, osrs is just full of bots and to me it's far less fun, the pvp is good there though which makes a change as Rs3 has almost no pvp

1. RS3 has Treasure Hunter, which offers near unmatched exp rates compared to anything else, the exact numbers depending on your current skill levels, current TH promotion and how much real money you're willing to spend. As an example, I know someone who swiped their credit card to go from 99 to 200m agility in a single day, averaging over 20m exp/hour.

2. RS3 has several double exp events each year, which lets you save both half the time and half the money, if you use them to train the right skills. Summoning for example is a skill you should only train during double exp if possible, as you only need to make half the amount of pouches, and need only half the money and charms to do it.

3. Regular skill training methods are generally more afk and give more exp/hour on average than those in OSRS, and relatively those afk methods are more worth it in RS3 than in OSRS.

People say its easier because most of the skilling methods are super chill and afk. At the higher level pvm though its much more challenging in comparison.

not rly anymore with the raids and Quests OSRS gets the pvm in oldschool is way more difficult. In rs3 you can almost solo everything even when you play casual in osrs it's way harder to solo high end pvm....

The XP rates are faster, mostly. RS3 does have the keys but it's not like everyone on there has disposable income.

Between daily free keys, Oddment keys, Quest keys and getting keys from playing the game, you don't even need disposable income to make large headway.

Some of these TH Promos just spit out lamps and stars left and right.

They scale with levels also so they're not even great xp for the average player who isn't a max sweat.
