Removing imcando axe from toolbelt.

How can i remove my axe from toolbelt? I wanted to augment it and farm some elder trees, but this damn dwarf in invention guild keeps talking about building some damn machines first :/

I did build generator already, now he wants me to build machine (i don't have materials atm)... Is this that tutorial?

EDIT:
Nvm i finished building stuff for him and he removed my hatchet from toolbelt.
