1. I'm not a lawyer, so if you're actually serious about taking legal action, first talk to someone who is a lawyer, but while I would love to see someone taking Jagex to court over Treasure Hunter, I doubt you will. That's why Jagex doesn't care about your issue: they also know you won't sue them, and if you did, they know they would win, by throwing better lawyers at it than you.
2. In one of your emails you said you either want a refund or 400 keys replaced; NEVER accept keys as a reimbursement. Why? Because it costs Jagex nothing to give you TH keys, it's virtual fluff that has no real value and has no (direct) production costs. If you want Jagex to actually learn something from this whole ordeal, only accept a real money refund; real money is the only thing that actually matters to them.
3. Mods on the RS subreddit are just volunteers, Jagex doesn't tell them how to operate their subreddit, so if they keep deleting your posts, it's because the volunteers themselves wanted to remove your posts for whatever reason.
Anyway, in the likely event that you'll get nothing out of this mess, take the L and remember one thing above all: never buy any microtransactions again, in RS or any other game. Microtransactions still haven't been regulated properly after all these years, so if you keep buying them after this, you will run into a similar situation like this again eventually. Simply assume that it's always a scam, and you won't get burned like this again.
Uh no, just because jagex does this and no one has any balls to speak up about doesn't mean "oh well blame yourself". You want to put the blame on someone or something, put it where it belongs. ON Jagex.
People are too stupid for their own good and require government regulation to stop them from being stupid.
Not sure what world you live in, but here in reality, we've BEEN holding Jagex accountable for their MTX crap since it first hit the scene. A good chunk of the playerbase that the hilarious release of "EoC" didn't push away was absolutely continued to be pushed off by the Squeal of Gambling.
How to tell us you know nothing of the history of the playerbase OR Runescape while trying to tell us otherwise.
