How should i be making money? Returning player

Most of my skills are in the 40-50s, have been working on fort forinthry and it seems i may run out of funds. I have 1.6mil, not sure where i got that much from. What are some ways i can earn decent money in the game?

Making necromancy matereals is very good right now. Low imput cost and decent money.
Slayer is a good choice as well. Especally when you get to 80+.
Or you can do some bosses. Kril at gwd is really good money right now cause of necromancy.

if you're f2p, lesser necroplasm rituals are a lot of money right now. Ghostly ink, which it's needed for, is in very high demand right now

if a member, you can also do necroplasm and/or ghostly ink, but higher tiers and with multiply glyphs for more money

It takes just about an hour to cut 1000 oak logs which sell for over 900 GP each. I just got back into the game and I very quickly went from 300k up to 5.5 mil. 80% of that is the oak logs. I asked a guy for 2 mil after he was saying how he had 80 bil and he very generously gifted me 2 million GP to get me from 3 million I made literally just from cutting oak logs for 3 different nights. After I got all that dosh I just spent time leveling my fishing to 50+ and now my cooking is also at 50+.... I have 5 mil, 3 of that I made insanely quick from probably the worst method, but it's either I cut oak logs or pick flax and make it into bow strings to then sale. Anyways, now that I'm loaded with money for a low level and I also have endless amounts of food; I can go ahead and level my combat skills way more effectively and I can get anything for quests as soon as I see that I need it.
You get oak logs at level 15 and you can make endless money if you don't mind doing something repetitive. This has been my timeless method up until now that I've started to explore the game rather than just the same few skills I focus on.... There's endless ways to make GP I imagine.

My slayer skill isnt to high, my highest skill is 62 iirc. How far do you have to get before you can do some bossing?

60-70 in combat stats is where id say you would be in a comfortable spot to start doing bosses. But you could realisticly start doing bosses as early as 50.
Could also ask people to teach you some bosses.

You didn't think of it because it's not good money. 900k/hour is a terrible rate for making money. The methods below this post aren't very good, either. At those rates it's like a part-time job simply to afford a bond.

There are actually so many little things you can do to make some easy gold even with skills 40-50. Methods I go through would be mining adamantite, runite, iron or gold each 1,000 a piece so minutes of mining can get about 30k and with an ore box you'll have almost 150 ore so about 150,000/run.

I make few mil an hour picking which ever. Gold is faster with the crafting guild behind Falador because I can just dump the ore into the furnace then pick it up when I want to sell at the GE. Another method I noticed is super easy is polar kebbit fur going for 9,700 a pop. Super fast once you learn the patterns for tracking them over at Burthrope.

Woodcutting easy gold right now with normal logs 1,700 each or almost forgot lumanite 2,000 each.

So yeah many little things worth some easy gold. I like switching between everything so I don't get burnt out.

EDIT: So polar kebbits after about 5mins 150,000gp for full inventory of fur and meat (135,000 if you sell just the fur and keep the meat). It can probably be done faster if the patterns don't change based on what you investigate first while hunting them.

EDIT 2: Forgot another easy one is stealing from bakery stall at Catherby sits right next to a bank spawn in about 2 seconds, full inventory gets 30,000 in like 2mins or so. I just keep full cakes to sell as they're worth the most out of it.
