Armor and hybrid armor

So, i have gwd hybrid lvl 75 armor, and the dinohide lvl 75 Ranged armor.
Lets say im fighting a normal on level melee enemy and using a bow. Am i more likely to be hit in the ranged armor, which is weak to melee in this rock paper scissors system, or more likely to be hit in the hybrid armor?

If by "gwd hybrid lvl 75 armor" you mean the warpriest armor like I think, then the dinosaurhide armor would be better. For its tier, the armor rating of warpriest armor is very low, at 882 for the whole set. Dinosaurhide is 1270 for the set. The difference between ranged and hybrid armor against melee is that your affinity would be 65 against melee in ranged armor and 55 in hybrid armor, meaning that accuracy rolls against your are multiplied by .65 and .55, respectively. The armor difference between the two sets is much larger than that difference.
