account locked, but cant unlock
what is this? i made a ticket and no response.
theres no email attached for me to work with, i cant get into my account, i cant unlock it.
the game tells me i tried too many times in an hour and to try again in an hour.
WHAT-DO-YOU-WANT-!

How come there is no email? Maybe wait more time and try again?

When you make too many attempts, the security feature locks the account and prevents access because to them it seems like someone trying to hack into the account. Give it 24 hours and then try again. Be very sure of your details when you enter them so you don't make any mistakes. if you're still having a problem after that, try contacting Jagex support again.

you see, i installed the game again after not playing for a long time.
the launcher had my account memorised, and i pressed login, and it was already locked.
it wasnt locked because i got my details wrong, it was locked to begin with

Then it's most likely been hacked, I'm afraid. You will have to contact Jagex in order to try and recover the account but it probably has been completed looted. You'll have to decide whether you want to start up a new account or not.

even if i wanted, the game has no logout option to swap accounts, it just locks the account to the launcher and im stuck with a dead game now that wont let me in my account, nor make a new one.
i guess the only option is to download a sepperate launcher but i cannot be arsed with that.
ill just play something else

First off, why it is locked. Did you ever enable 2FA on your RUNESCAPE account? Not Steam btw. If not, then it is definitely compromised by someone else. Contact Support about it being hacked. If you did enable 2FA, then not sure why it would lock itself unless you are dealing with MTX and trying to spoof or something.

no i didnt enable 2 factor auth, i guess the rest of your message answers that.
i made a ticket before the post here, but have yet to receive a response.
