For each individual skill, it's 99 (except for Dungeoneering, Invention, Archaeology, Herblore, Farming and Slayer, where it's 120). Maximum combat level is 138. Maximum total skill level is 2898.

There are also 'virtual' levels up to 120 for the skills that stop at 99, but those levels don't grant you anything other than bragging rights.

Invention can actually go up to level 150. It's the only elite skill in the game.

It has been a fair while since i last played, but i do know if the player wishes to go level 120 it does have additional perks/bonuses with the cape also it changes in design along with an upgraded emote with the "master cape" but not sure if the player needs the cape in their inventory to upgrade before paying the 150k coins with the required skill trader..after level 120 nothing gets unlocked at the moment.

iirc it's just the expert skills (the ones I listed above that have unlocks up to 120) that have the extra skill cape perk on master capes of accomplishment. Maybe I'm misremembering, though.

no you're fine :) ,i was giving additional input, but eventually jagex can/will work on the other skills that don't go to level 120/150..it can take an age just to get to 13m..now you'll need to grind to 104m experience, but imo it is worth it.
