Barbarian Training Crushed bones not dropping

I have been trying for months to get the crushed bones to drop! Is there a way to abandon the quest and start over?

i got chewed bones the first time i killed mithril dragon.

wiki says the first kill is a guaranteed drop just for the quest. If you accidently lose that one, u have to work hard killing mithril dragons to get it for the second time because it is a very rare drop.
