Can you reset a character?
I finally got into trying RS for real rather than mucking about a couple days and then dropping it for a few years and I created a fresh character on OSRS and have been playing it seriously for a day or two. My issue comes with the fact that I am considering getting a membership to fully experience the game and since the same account can only be linked on steam, am I able to delete my RS3 character or somehow get a fresh start so I don't lose the progress on my OSRS character? I'm a bit picky and if I get into something, I like to come fresh rather than piecing a character together I had no clue what I was doing with.

Your account is used for both games you cannot "delete" or "reset" one or the other.

You cannot reset, nor do you really want to as you might have gained some experience from the start until where you left it off at. Also if OSRS and RS3 are the same account, membership applies to both but you can only play 1 side at the same time.

Otherwise you will have to create a new account (preferably through RS website) and login with that on their launcher (without the need to unlink steam) so you can play both acc at the same time. This of course means that membership is not shared and are essentially 2 different accounts.

I ended up just making a new account, since I hadn't really cared about my RS3 one and didnt really get very far in OSRS
