Broach, Luck, and Grace: Craft or Buy?
So, one of the things that was added to the game while I was away was Alchemical Jewellery. Initially, I ignored it as something to shoot for when I was higher level, but one of the people I was grinding alongside talked about how the Broach enhances Portables, which I'm heavily relying on for DXP Herblore training. I looked up the price, and saw that making an Alchemical Hydrix requires not just high Invention levels but also Rumbling Components, which would probably make it about as expensive to craft as to buy.

So, is it worth buying the three skillling Alchemical Jewellery? Or should I wait for the Invention level to make them myself and use Sliske's Endgame trinkets until then?

It depends on if you have cash to spare. They're not really things that will end up turning a profit any time soon unless you get really good rng from the procs.

If the decision you're making is "Should I drop 140m on a Broach for the portable chance increase, or should I spend it on Herblore mats?" then you should probably buy the mats, you'll get much farther that way.

If it's more like "I have a bunch of cash and dunno what to spend it on" then it might be more worth it since they're kinda fun to have. Grace is the most immediately practical, storing 500 porter charges is great for Archaeology as well as the teleports you can have on it if you have any Max Guild access.

Alright, so the thinking is that Broach et. al. is more for people who are going for 120 or 200m, not merely 99's. Thanks for that, I'll keep that in mind.

Just buy it trust me unless you have all the components required to make it.

These are sink items that provide you with quality of life. I wouldn't look at it like a waste of money but i also wouldn't look at it with a frame of mind where in you think you're going to make money off them either. Just think of it like a bonus.

Grace of the Elves (with Luck of the Dwarves) has been nerfed a few times. If you're paying attention you're only going to make about 20m every 2 weeks or so. You'd be making money but you kinda can't AFK as hard as you used to... When i was getting 200m Woodcutting i just straight up began to ignore the Seren Spirits altogether.
Luck of the Dwarves just goes hand and hand with Grace of the Elves so consider those a combination you have to buy in tandem.
Outside of the realm of its passive effect, Grace of the Elves is a fantastic skilling item, especially if you need to camp a spot without banking. The Sign of the Porter charges stack to 500, this is very useful for gathering skills.

Broach is a different story. I don't consider this item to be a must have if you've completely maxed Invention out or if you no longer want to touch skills that have a portable skilling machine. It has the same mechanics as G0TE does with a spirit to give you Invention Components; I've hardly made any money off of the spirits since release, maybe not even 5m. However if you're working on a skilling portable the effects of the portable with Broach equipped will kick in twice as often - you'd be making money in this situation. There's also the benefit of urn storage up to 1000 of each to be stored within the Broach but that's kind of an afterthought.

If you plan on extending your stay beyond 99 and maybe strive for 200m they are a must have. In respect to money making when it comes to making the items themselves... just buy them. Merch clans and Youtube videos, ignore them - chances are they're moot methods now.

Buy them, for a non-iron account its not worth the time it takes to accumulate all the required materials (Fortunate Components, Alchemical Onyx/Hydrix etc) unless you are REALLY into Clue Scrolls. Time over Money.
