Rainbow Treasure Hunter

I recently began playing again. So this is my first time doing Rainbow Treasure Hunter. Is it normal to only have one option when it says choose your prize? I know regular Treasure Hunter has 3 different options you can choose from but with the Rainbow event there's only 1 choice and no other options.

Is this normal for the Rainbow promotion or a glitch? Thanks.

I checked how "Rainbows End" looked in past, and it seams only one reward to choose is normal in that promo

also -while some of the rewards are (for me) absolute top tier and "must haves"(and i have exactly zero of them right now) these is like worst promo there is from all of them...
Or maybe best... for some folks...

Problem with Rainbows End is:
white gems allowed.... = expect bazilions of trashy whites
"multiplier unlocks" (those are in orange gems, so its not that bad), problem is...
unlocked multiplier is absolutly random -.-'
best rewards are PURPLE gems = dont expect you get them...
"red rewards" ar dirt cheap -most of them cost in 100k gold range - so it seams theres a LOT of deperates trying to get those puples, eh...

so its best or worst promo cos it is MOST RNG dependant (luck based) promo...
sure -you can "win big", literally biggest possible wins in here if you get 7x like, rainbow cape or rainbow gaze (worth 150M each) IF you hit "double jackpot" -purple gem (with "good" reward) AND high multiplier

If someone is not gambling addict (or very bored whale) i would advice AGAINST investing into that promotion

I think most people play it for the absurd amount of bxp this promo gives. Not so much for the cosmetics, which most are dirt cheap and can just be bought on the ge. Though when the promo is active, those items always drop dramatically in price.

The wings are currently going anywhere from 50-60M. I suspect they'll drop by the end of the event, but they'll shoot back up again. The bxp is nice too, but I do recommend if you get any tokens and don't want to use them, to keep them until they boom in price.

Okay thank you. I'm fairly new to RS3 and I'm used to multiple choices for a prize but I guess this is a one choice promo.

The Rainbow promo is garbage. You have no choice over the exp wins which makes it a waste of a roll. Then they actually take a roll of you to 'increase' the x factor.

Don't waste your money/bonds/rolls. Wait for the normal one to return.

It's also worth noting this event resets every time it comes back, so all those mutlipliers you unlocked but never got a hit on will be locked all over again.

This is one of the worst events.
