Raids and Dungeons

Do raids and dungeons exist in RS3 - are they like wow classic or wow retail?

What's called raids in RS are two high level bosses. These aren't really like classic raids like in wow, as there are no trash or other mobs, just the bosses.

For a more classic "raid", there are something called Elite Dungeons (there are three of them). These are dungeons with three bosses each, with normal mobs in sections between these bosses. These are much closer to your normal WoW raids, I think. They're pretty fun with friends!

For the most part Runescape's focus is on training skills, not running content, so while Runescape does have dungeons, they're (for the most part) functionally indistinguishable from overworld areas.

Also there is litterally a skill called dungeoneiring, that is all about dungeons.

Dungeoneering dungeons are nothing like WoW dungeons.

oh then thats my bad for misunderstanding, i thought he was asking about dungeons in general.

The closest thing you would find to World of Warcraft raids is the Elite Dungeons, three "dungeons" in which you have to beat a large amount of smaller enemies before fighting three distinct bosses with unique mechanics. This is quite high level content, and its the only thing really WoW-like in that regard, so if you're looking for that kind of experience from an MMO, you won't find much of it in Runescape.

Runescape is mostly oriented towards completing quests for story and leveling up skills to unlock content.
