Berserker Ring

I did some low level Pking a long while back. I "won" a Beserker ring. At the time it was like 200 or 300k worht. But today it turns out to be 8M+ so i tried to sell it for that number and i recieved 12M...

It seemed to a nice bonus at the time, but now it turns out to be the best value for a kill.

But why is it so much worht at this point in time why does it spike like this suddenly?

They skyrocketed in price with the Rex Matriarchs update.

10 Berserker rings can be combined with a Heart of the Berserker to create the Reaver's ring.

So the new content created a rush demand for the rings in order to create the new ring.
