Jagex is not going to put a bank in the player owned house
Just so you can use it to complete your house.

But construction is still inherently useless.

Change my mind.

Not as useless as Firemaking, though.

why do you need a bank in your own house ? its useless just unlock priff and its few steps away easy

I prefer the house portal at Otot (Mazcab), but there's not much difference in distance to bank and house between them. Also, Prif has a sawmill nearby.

But, the elite construction outfit has infinite teleports to your house, so it really doesn't matter where you choose to have your house these days...

Construction has a lot of good benefits actually.

Guilded Alters
Seriously reduced repair costs
Fantastic Fishing buffs from the Prawn Brokers
Extra storage outside of your bank for capes, quest items, books and so on.

It's more valuable than you think.

How about fletching?

Agility and dung are pretty limited in application as well, as much as I like dungeoneering.

Construction definitely needs to be modernized if nothing else.
Its primary purpose is to be a gold sink, which it's getting less effective at as inflation is outpacing it, which in turn weakens its ability to counteract inflation.

Without fletching, I wouldn't have an easy sources of bows to disassemble for cheap. Plus don't forget about using them with Hi-alch for an easy source of money/magic EXP.

Agility is atleast helpful for preserving Run Energy for longer runs. Personally I dislike how agility "shortcuts" generally require random levels, and in some places, ridiculously high agility in regards to the action being performed. Like I can parkor up a building in Priff in the mid 70s, but there's still a few shortcuts locked that require far less effort.

Dungeoneering atleast has some reward boosters, teleports, resource dungeons, and some pretty useful unlockable buffs from the tokens. Unfortunately Dungeoneering was neutered combat wise ever since EoC first hit the scene. Monsters use to deal 300+ damage at 138, back when 990 was our max health. Now they're lucky to break 500 damage while I'm running around with over 12k health.

Construction definitely needs to be modernized if nothing else.

Agreed. Construction is outdated with the limited content it provides. There's only a handful of things you can make in your house which even have any useful functionality in this day and age of RS. Even the Flatpack Workbench isn't worth using with W84 almost always having a workbench next to a bank chest.

Construction needs a rework ASAP.
FemboyHooters Mar 17, 2021 @ 9:18pm
Construction (probably) won't ever receive the update it deserves. They've solidified that fact by giving us the Construction Contract update.

Oh topical point, by the way JAGEX, P0H is bugged.
'Roofs off' in POH basements only allows you to view the floor above where the portal is located. (I don't know British floor numbering.) Big glitch please fix, i already know it has something to do with shadows. Are you going to fix it before the 22nd... who knows...

Those contracts give a fair amount of xp for little effort. It'll do until something better comes along.

dung can get you into high level hidden dungeons with slayer monsters and rare mats which can make you serious bank so that's a must have 120 skill for end game

I've been slowly grinding up my dung anyway just because I like the skillcape and the gimmicks that come with dung rewards.

Firemaking accelerates Smithing.
Maximun heat= 300 + ( 3 x Smithinglevel ) + ( 3 x Firemakinglevel )

OK that's something I just assumed was just associated with smithing and not involving firemaking at all.
