Help with quest Missing My Mummy & ring of charos (a)

You can see in the completion journal of the quest how much you have completed. The journal says 96% complete. only "name" is " 1/2 completed. like here [imgur.com]

This is what the quest log tells me:
I HAVE RECONSTRUCTED THE MUMMY 96%
I HAVE RECOVERED A POOR VERSION OF THE MUMMY's NAME AND PASSED IT ON HER.
I HAVE OBTAINED A DOCUMENT CONCERNING THE MUMMY's NAME BUT NOT YET HANDED IT OVER TO THE FHARAOH QUEEN


But i don't have a document anymore.
I see walktrough guides, you get a Papyrus thingy from Ali Morissan(?) in Al-Kharid. I got one from him. But in those guides i see they got a second papyrus from him with the ring of charos (a) and get a second papyrus but i didn't get it but the game says i did. But where is it?

Does it have something to do with the fact my ring i "ring of charos" without the (a)
i am lost.

Ring of Charos (a) is not the Ring of Charos, it's the improved version you get near the start of Garden of Tranquility. Start that quest.

The Ring of Charos is an item that allows you to persuade some NPCs to make alternative decisions, usually in your favour.

The regular ring is from 'Creature of Fenkenstrain' quest. The Ring becomes 'active' (a) during 'Garden of Tranquillity' quest: "given after 'Creature of Fenkenstrain' by pickpocketing Dr Fenkenstrain, and later enchanted by the Wise Old Man during Garden of Tranquillity."

It looks like you need the (a) version of the Ring to continue.
