Recruit a friend and Steam

So correct me if I am wrong, but it's not possible to RAF via Steam unless you create an account via web browser? This seems like a drastic oversight if so.

I just made an account myself (24 hours ago)

- Got my wife into it.
- Saw that this was an option as I was enjoying the game.
- Attempted to Recruit her for the bonus rewards.
- Went through the email sign-up (which was tedious and redundant).

All of this just to find out that I cannot recruit her as our accounts were through Steam, AND (via the reddit) if you make an account before using this option you miss out on it entirely. This seems like a HUGE oversight and 1-sided option. Why in the world would we not have an option of recruiting your friends AFTER account creation (At least 24 - 48 hours).

Hi, unfortunately we don't have the ability to add RAF perks to already made accounts, they have to be made fresh, so doing it directly through Steam is not possible. You can read more about it here: https://support.runescape.com/hc/en-gb/articles/206817689-Recruit-a-Friend
