Payment issue with steam wallet
Hi, I am trying to buy some stuff from the store, I authorize payment when steam window pops up, but then I keep getting error "The payment has been refused. Please check your payment details and try again, or select another payment method." at runescape

Also I get message from Jagex that "This transaction was declined by the issuer of your fund source" but I have the money on my steam balance available.

Did anyone else get this issue ?

I hope you realise that this page is absolutely useless. How about someone over there at Jagex looks into this issue properly because there are many people having it, including me, who has sent a support ticket over 5 days ago and still no reply.

Your first mistake was in thinking that Jagex cares about its customers....good luck

So I circumvented steam and went to the Jagex page and signed in there. Bought the subscription there and then logged back on to steam. It worked for me.

the biggest problem they want people to go through there website so they get more money then with steam
I was in Canada with a VPN, and when I turned it off (united states), it let the payment process. Hope this helps someone.

they care only when its related to monetization.
Anyone ever find a fix for this? I've been trying to get a payment to go through with my steam wallet for weeks.. More than enough funds yet I'm unable to purchase any bonds.
Still happening 2025 it’s ridiculous they accept payment for my 12 month membership then refund payments for Bonds/Keys it’s a bit backwards.
