DO NOT FALL FOR "20b GIVEAWAY" SEARCH YT SCAM
New players, or anyone who still doesn't know at this point, there are a lot of scumbag ass people who play this game and want to scam you. The 20b scam is old, but may seem attractive to you if you haven't been warned.

They have you click a link from the youtube video, then when you enter your name and pw and ask you to enter your bank pin (wtf kinda ♥♥♥♥ is that? how is it not "phishy" at this point?) it's phished and stolen. Now they will empty your valuables and use you as a spam mule to find the next victim. Just stay away.

Rule of thumb to battle the vermin in this game: TRUST NO ONE YOU DON"T PERSONALLY KNOW! If they can't just give you something in a single trade without doing a bunch of extra ♥♥♥♥, it's a scam! You've been warned, now good luck and stay away from these buckets of mucous.

You can't trust anyone as a rule of thumb on onlines games, it doesn't matter if they mean you good or evil. Remaining vigilant to threats to your own security is something everyone should take seriously.

I'd strongly recommend using the 2FA option, having that authenticator will make it harder for users to get into your account. it would also be useful if your authenticator is not located on the same device you use to play the game. So long as your email and account have strong passwords, you'll be fine.

If someone does fall for these gold selling scammers and links with keyloggers attached to get your account details, it would be your own fault for falling for it.

As soon as you know it is a scam or a phishing expedition, immediately scan your computer with AV software for threats and remove them, then change the password on your account asap, the same with your email or risk losing your account to these people.

If you have lost your account to these people, it would be a good idea to use support on the main website and follow the instructions:

It amazes me people still fall for such obvious scams nearly 2 decades later.

No-one is just going to up and give you millions.

Anyone dumb enough to fall for that deserves to lose their stuff.

They are probably kids. Maybe adults who are naive or aren't socially savvy too ie. vulnerable people. Some of these scammers are very charming and convincing and they are the worst.

With that said anyone reading this, I would advise you simply to not be greedy. If it's too good to be true it very likely is.

Don't judge the community on one bad apple. there will always be a few in each community looking to spoil it for the rest, that's a given.

Users will always fall for scams and phishing sites on the promise of getting ahead, these types of people prey on that trusting nature, they always will. The unfortunate truth is that a PSA won't make one damn bit of difference, users will always keep falling for such scams (and it happens with every game that has a online presence and a community).

However they don't deserve to lose everything they worked for in the process. Mistakes happen, they always do and you can't say that everyone is perfect where no one can ever make mistakes. I'm sure you probably made a few of your own, just like me and anyone else here.

Sometimes the threat of losing everything or something good is enough for people to turn back and admit they were wrong to be so cavalier about it, or even when they have lost it and folded on their own bluff that they are willing to do anything to get what they had back.

This is ironically where entitlement and greed are the instigators as they are the reason for the U turn on the behaviour. Lesson learned for those who has been through it, and a valuable one at that.

Just calling it like it is. If you're stupid enough to send some random stranger your login credentials, then you shouldn't be using a computer at all and deserve to lose your stuff.
It's not mean. It's the truth. Sorry that I triggered you. :poc:
