Snakeskin question
I'm able to make the armor, however, to actually GET it I need to be a member in those areas. I'm a Ironman so I can't use the Gran Exchange, is there a place where I can farm scakeskin Hide without being a member?

I don't think so. I think your best best would be to wait until you can craft green d'hide
You could always ask here https://www.reddit.com/r/RS3Ironmen/ They would know best

... Well that's just rediculous, if you ask me. I'm glad they made a lot for F2P players, but why unlock something if they have to buy to use?

Thanks for the site, though. :)

You're right, the snakes available to free players don't drop the hides. You only get the snakehide from poison snake on Mos Le'Harmless and Bush Snakes around Tai Bwo Wannai Village.

That's good really if some one chooses iron man AND f2p they deserve to have a hard life ;))

It don't matter, I found an alternative: Carapace armor, does better than Studded Leather. Thanks for the help, though. :)

And yeah, Ironman life is rough, but damn it's fun! But on a side note, I don't need membership yet, so there's that.

You can actually get them from Temple Trekking/Burg De Rott Ramble as well and it's actually the fastest way to. Because the paths have the potential of having multiple snake encounters and even just 1 encounter typically yields a minimum of 3 giant snakes and you get multiple hides per snake. Which is one of the ways in which Temple Trekking is a good active and easy way to make profit, it's not amazing profit but low intensity and good for lower levels.

Mind you this is a member's activity regardless.

Eh, I'm not concerned no more since I found a alternative to the armor, but it still stands on how they make some free things, yet make it where you buy it in GE. Ruins the point of Ironmen/women to those that need it since GE's closed off to us, except for buying Bonds. But maybe in the future they'll do something like that.

The point was to give a bit more value to something most P2P never even really touched, while at the same time giving F2P players something that couldn't just be grinded into oblivion by bots.
