not enough of those items are traded on the Ge for it's price to update
Especially atm with merch clans and plain crazy people trying to buy everything even stuff that technically can't be traded (ways round it)
Best bet is go your trade world w2 if you're a member and just shout out at the GE for what price you want
Ge price and real price can be and often are very different for some items
Be careful btw, merch clans will try and make items "worth" a lot more than normal then they sell them all crash the price and you're left with junk
fish mask has tripled in price in a short time, you have to wonder why when that happens
with such a old item
Yes, I have been wondering that, but I thought maybe it's the influx of new players... Thanks I will try that.
Fail quote, lol.
Just teasing.
Yea there’s been markets for tradeable items that can no longer be acquired since the beginning of RuneScape basically. Things like the disc of returning, from back when the ban zone was an actual in game area you could visit in the dwarves mines, lol. Couldn’t do anything with the disc really other than it’s intended purpose, but when the void or whatever the ban area was called (it was a looooong time ago, so I forget the name lol) was removed and the discs weren’t, they suddenly became a super valuable item. Despite being technically worthless. People like to own things you can’t get anymore. 🤷🏻♂️
Personally I stick with wearables, though I can’t afford any of them. If only I hadn’t lost them years back 🥺
The stuff i'm talking about is inventing rares, items you can't know if they'll be more of
Ok the smithing flier is unlikely to make a return, but the hatchable magical easter eggs could well return along with many other fakes rares that are trading hands for millions of gp
Jagex can't be expected to never reuse those items when they never claimed they were rare discontinued items in the first place
So why would make stuff like the flier drop tradeable? seems pretty obvious that Jmods run all the merch clans :))

A couple of them in there but the obscure ones are not listed
